Rise Of The Tomb Raider on PC this January

Looks like a small slipup from Amazon France revealed that the latest adventure of Lara Croft is coming sooner than we think. A very short exclusivity duration for Microsoft now is it? That’s only 8 weeks after its arrival on Xbox One.Developer Crystal Dynamics has switched to the green team (Nvidia) despite its partnership with the red team (AMD) for the Tomb Raider reboot back in 2013. Their partnership back in 2013 led to the development of the GPU-melting TressFX technology, which made Lara Croft’s hair look very fabulous in every angle. Now that they jumped ship, they’ll now give out copies of Rise of the Tomb Raider with the purchase of their latest GeForce GTX graphics cards over the next two months.

If you’re eyeing on buying your gaming rig a new, shiny GPU ( GeForce GTX 980Ti, 980, 970, 980M or the 970M) its wise not to empty your wallet just yet. Anybody picking up any one of these graphics cards between January 7th till February 23rd will get a Steam key for Rise of the Tomb Raider bundled in, free of charge.

So far, no confirmation yet on any GameWorks features but given their newly made partnership, its pretty much given at this stage. Every GeForce bundled title in the recent GPU releases has had Nvidia-exclusive features, and Rise of the Tomb Raider is likely no different.

So we’ve got less than four weeks to go before we can poking about in tombs, shoot up bad guys and looting precious artifacts. System requirements may be released very soon so keep your eyes peeled on Sirus for updates!
