Telltale CEO Departs, Dan Connors on the Throne Again

Kevin Bruner, the person who was appointed as CEO back in January 2015, just left the company who is known for its episodic route, Telltale Games. GameSpot reports that the predecessor will now be stepping in to take the role as CEO, Dan Connors.

“Kevin has led Telltale over the past couple of years after he stepped into the CEO role for co-founder Dan Connors in 2015. With Kevin departing, Telltale is fortunate to have Dan here to step back seamlessly into the CEO role,” – A representative told Gamespot

The original story was published on Kotaku stating that Bruner wrote an e-mail to his employees regarding about his departure:

Today I am writing to let you know that I’ll be stepping away from my position as CEO of Telltale. We’ve grown aggressively since Telltale’s inception, and now Telltale is bigger than I ever dreamed it would be. There are many possible futures for Telltale, and all of them are exciting and uniquely challenging. The time has come to pass the reins to someone that can better drive Telltale to the next level and realize all the potential that is here.

The report also states that Kevin Bruner will still be part of the board of directors for the meantime while the transition is ongoing.

Telltale is behind the successful episodic titles such as The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, and the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy.
