Perception is launching next week on PC, console version delayed to June

Perception, one of the most hyped horror game title from Deep End Games, has already prepped for its launch next week on May 30 for Steam and GOG. An awesome trailer is also out as well. However, console versions are pushed back a little bit to June due to challenges on age ratings across other territories.

“The Deep End Games has put together an exceptional debut game, and we’re very excited to share Perception with the world,” said Marcin Kawa, managing director of Feardemic. “Launching a game across multiple platforms and territories simultaneously is always a challenge and we ran into some unforeseen circumstances related to age ratings across territories. We decided to release on PC as planned and then follow with PlayStation 4 and Xbox One releases in the second week of June.”

Perception has been poorly received by critics such as Destructoid and IGN giving the score a 3/10 and 4.8/10 respectively. There were a lot of things that pulled the game back from its potential.

Perception is going to be available on PC next week, and PS4/Xbox One versions will be out in June.
