Electronic Arts Continues To Support Nintendo Switch According To Nintendo

It seems that more and more games are coming for the Nintendo’s hybrid console and that’s great news. FIFA 18, Electronic Arts’ very own soccer video-game, has passed the publisher’s expectation confirmed by Nintendo.

According to an interview with Nintendo France Managing Director, Philippe Lavoué, by Les Numériques (translated by Nintendo Life), FIFA 18 on Nintendo Switch sold 73,000 copies in France which apparently is a “passing” mark for EA. He also added that this was a “test case” for EA to determine if they can gain revenue by supporting the platform, and we should expect more “announcement” pretty soon.

Initially, everyone thought that the Nintendo Switch will end up like the Wii U but, gladly, it did not. The platform has been selling well globally and in its first year, the Nintendo Switch has been invading homes and bags providing enjoyable experiences such as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Super Mario Odyssey, 1-2 Switch, ARMS, and Mario+Rabbids: Kingdom Battle.
