Microsoft Announces New Web Series: Inside Xbox

Microsoft, the home of the Xbox systems, has announced its new web-series that is scheduled to air on a monthly basis. Much like Nintendo Direct, the publisher has taken this route to further showcase existing games, exclusive announcements, behind-the-scenes, and interviews with developers. This new web-series exclusively about Xbox is titled “Inside Xbox”.

A trailer has been uploaded for the web-series. And it’s interesting what they have to feature aside from the announced ones that will be on its premiere episode: Sea of Thieves, Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds, the return of the Duke controller, and Far Cry 5. “Inside Xbox is many things. A premier live news broadcast that will highlight breaking announcements and a peek behind the curtain of Team Xbox,” according to Tina Summerford, Director of Programming at Xbox. “A glimpse at the mysteries of game design and a celebration of some of the month’s most exciting games and features.”

Inside Xbox’s hosts will be Larry Hryb, Graeme Boyd, Jeff Rubenstein, Alex Hebert, Lydia Ellery, and more.

In the first episode of Inside Xbox, Rare is going to discuss the “incredible energy” from the fans towards Sea of Thieves. Aside from that, there will also be Xbox Game Pass, the Netflix-style subscription of video-games on Xbox One, news, the announcement of new features for the console, and get more insight from Microsoft Studios Executive Producer, Nico Bihary, on PUBG; and a lot more especially about Far Cry 5 and another Xbox announcements.

“For us, Inside Xbox is the next step on a path Team Xbox has been traveling for many years. From programs like feedback.xbox.com to the Xbox Insider Program, and the great work the team has done with Gaming For Everyone, we believe strongly in transparency, inclusion, and having an authentic two-way conversation with our fans. We want to hear from you as much as we want you to hear from us.” said Summerford.

Inside Xbox is going to premiere on March 10 12:00PM PST.
