5 Games To Look Out For This April 2018

March just ended and we’ve entered the month of April. Unlike last month, April is a tad slower in terms of game releases. But this month is certainly going to be a bright moment for PS4 owners as the highly anticipated Sony exclusive, God of War, is coming out on April 20. You can expect reviews pop out around the world on April 12, so mark that date.

I’ve listed down recommended games that you might be interested in, so here are the 5 games that you need to look out for this month.

Extinction

PS4, Xbox One PC | April 10, 2018

When you think of video-games with giants, titles like Shadow of the Colossus and God of War slowly slides into your mind. Extinction is a combination of both God of War and Shadow of the Colossus. You get to face against humongous orcs with epic combat mechanics and moves. Unlike Shadow of the Colossus, you will encounter and fight normal-sized enemies. It’s a lot of fun, you can check the gameplay video embedded above.

God of War

PS4 | April 20, 2018

He’s old, he’s back, and he’s a dad! After Kratos’ lust for revenge against the Olympian gods, he found himself in the lands of the Norse gods. While living as a father for his son, Atreus, he needs to protect and train his offspring to survive and engage in combat. Much has changed since the previous installments of God of War especially its gameplay and camera angle. You’ll be closer to Kratos as the camera view is now in a third-person perspective to give you a chance to be connected with the Dad of War himself.

Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice

Xbox One | April 11, 2018

Xbox One owners rejoice, the timed PS4 exclusive and hit indie dark fantasy action-adventure game from Ninja Theory is coming to Microsoft’s console. It’s expected to have better visual output because of the Xbox One X. Xbox One owners who haven’t played Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice will definitely going to enjoy the psychological ride with Senua.

Battletech

If you’re a fan of the MechWarrior franchise, then you’ll definitely be into Battletech. Paradox Interactive, the publisher behind the SimCity killer game Cities Skylines, is bringing back the turned-based mech games back. The game is set in the year 3025 when the galaxy is in turmoil and is fought by mechanized battle vehicles called BattleMechs.

Frostpunk
