Summer Games Done Quick 2018 recently has raised a lot of money for charity work they have chosen. This will definitely benefit the ones who will get the help they need.

SGDQ 2018 has indeed raised a lot of money for Doctors Without Borders/ Medecins Sans Frontieres. This is a non-profit organization that offers emergency medical aid worldwide to areas that are affected by epidemics, conflict, disasters, or are excluded from healthcare. The event has yielded exactly $2.12 million, which will definitely benefit the charity group in their future endeavors.

Past works and other charities

Last year, the same event also raised more than $1.7 million for the same charity group. This time around, the organizers of the event have beaten their record from last year. To date, the events have raised more than $16 million for different charities like Prevent Cancer Foundation, Organization for Autism Research, CARE, and of course Doctors Without Borders.

Event happening

SGDQ 2018 happened at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Bloomington, MN. They started from June 24 until yesterday, July 1. Awesome Games Done Quick 2019 will start on Jan. 6-13 next year in Rockville, MD. The next Games Done Quick event will be Games Done Quick Express at TwitchCon, which will be on Oct. 26-28 at the McNery Convention Center in San Jose, CA.
