Xbox 20th Anniversary Will Be Celebrated by Microsoft with Special Broadcast Next Month

Microsoft confirms that there will be a special broadcast happening in November 2021 to celebrate the upcoming Xbox 20th anniversary.

Head of Xbox Game Studios Matt Booty has recently announced on Xbox Wire that there will be a full digital broadcast for fans around the globe on November 15, 2021 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Xbox and Halo. He did clarify that there will be no announcements about any new games, but it will be a special look back at 20 years of Xbox. More details will be revealed at a later time.

The Xbox Games Studios head discussed about how this year was remarkable for the fans and Team Xbox with many highlights. One of them was adding Bethesda to their family, which was a big event for Xbox at that time. They also shared the many new games that got added a couple of months before like Psychonauts 2 and Microsoft Flight Simulator. They were also added into Xbox Game Pass, which was a great delight for the subscribers as they were able to try it out on day one.

Xbox has recently celebrated the twenty-five million players that have joined Sea of Thieves and also making the Xbox Series X Mini Fridge a reality due to the fans’ passion for it.

More titles are coming to Xbox Game Pass later this month as well like Age of Empires IV in October 28, 2021. Minecraft will be joining too on PC this coming November 2, 2021 with Minecraft Dungeons in December 2, 2021, and Caves and Cliffs: Part II later this year. Forza Horizon 5 will be coming to Xbox Game Pass on November 9, 2021, Microsoft Flight Simulator: Game of the Year Edition is releasing on November 18, 2021 and will be a free update for existing players including Xbox Game Pass members. Lastly, Halo Infinite is coming on December 8, 2021, finally.
