Destiny 2 Server Maintenance and Downtime has been setup by Bungie due to the latest season being implemented. Players who are logged in during the downtime will be removed from any activities they’re taking part in and will not be able to login until the server maintenance is complete.
Destiny 2 Server Maintenance and Downtime
The Destiny 2 server maintenance for update 4.1.0 will begin on May 24, 2022 and start on 9 AM PDT. The downtime is expected to last until 11 AM PDT the same day. The official Bungie help made a post to warn players of this.
Although the maintenance will begin on 9 AM PDT, players are not expected to be kicked out of their activities until 9:45 AM PDT. Still, it isn’t advised to be logged in during this time. By 9 AM players will no longer be able to sign in on web, mobile, any 3rd-party apps, and the Bungie Store related to Destiny 2.
By 10 AM PDT, hotfix 220.127.116.11 will be available across all platforms in every region. Players should also be able to login back to Destiny 2 again by this time. However those looking to login may be placed into a queue due to the server maintenance still ongoing. Players may experience some issues logging in. Read our Destiny 2 Error Code Buffalo for more information on that.
Players who experience issues should report it on the official Bungie help forum.
