A Way Out developer hosts AMA session

Hazelight Studios recently hosted a Reddit AMA session and discussed information about their upcoming video game: A Way Out. One of the Redditors asked a question why the game will not be coming to the Nintendo Switch on March 23.

    A Way Out plan

Programmer Lucas de Vries explained that the game was late in its development cycle. Another reason that he gave was the controller usage.

Since the controllers will need to use the camera with its control options, Vries thought that the Joy-Con controllers cannot be used for split multiplayer. He also thought that it would be disadvantageous for their players to buy another Pro Controller just to play their game.

The trailer gave a brief preview of several exciting scenes in the Leo and Vincent’s adventure. It also highlighted the fact about only one person needs to buy the game in order to play with other friends.

The upcoming co-op video game will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
