Game companies Bearded Ladies and Funcom recently announced that Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden got a new strategic gameplay video. It showcased strategic and turn-based gameplay.
Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden got inspiration from famous strategy game
The new gameplay video, which was presented during GDC a week ago, was now available to the public. It was clear that the inspiration for the new game was the XCOM series for its turn-based strategy gameplay.
Runs on Unreal Engine 4
The upcoming video game runs on the Unreal Engine 4 and it will follow the story of a uniquely combined group of heroes. Players can take control different characters like the anthropomorphic duck called Dux, and the pig named Bormin. They are looking for the legendary Eden in a post-apocalyptic world infested with hostile mutants and other dangers.
The game company will release the video game on the PC, Xbox One, and the PlayStation 4 in 2018.
