The hype when The Evil Within 2 was announced at Bethesda’s E3 press conference this year sparked a lot of excitement for the game. In a recent interview with Famitsu, and as reported by Wccftech, the creator Shinji Mikami and The Evil Within director John Johanas talked about how they are giving more experiences to the players in The Evili Within 2.
Both John and Shinji confirmed that players in The Evil Within 2 will have more freedom than in the first game. Players will not be forced to go on stealth or fights this time. They also mentioned that The Evil Within 2 will be more story-driven than the previous title. The studio wanted to craft a better follow up to the first game.
Another confirmed detail on The Evil Within 2 is its difficulty setting. Players will get to choose Casual, Survival and Nightmare difficulty settings at the start of the game.
The Evil Within 2 is slated to launch this October across three platforms: PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
