FIFA 18 Snatches 1st Place Again In The UK Sales Chart Last Week; Putting Shadow Of War To 2nd Place

Last week was met with 2 highly-anticipated games’ launching, specifically Middle-earth: Shadow of War on Tuesday and The Evil Within 2 on Friday. While we can understand The Evil Within 2’s getting third place at the UK Sales Chart last week, it shows that Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment’s title wasn’t able to take 1st place probably due to the microtransaction controversy.

Electronic Arts’ FIFA 18, launched last month on the 29th, is still standing strong on the top pushing Shadow of War and The Evil Within 2 to 2nd and 3rd respectively. FIFA 18 was able to hit 1st place 2 weeks ago in the UK Sales Chart.

It’s a known fact that football is popular in Europe, and the inclusion of the whole new story mode enticed a lot of fans of the franchise to grab the game. You can read our very own review right here.
