Since the Gears 5 (it’s official name, by the way) announcement at Microsoft’s E3 2018 press conference, everyone is kind of wondering what kind of enemies will they encounter in this next official entry to the series. The trailer didn’t tell much aside from the lacking appearance of J.D Fenix, Marcus’ son and the protagonist of fourth Gears of War.
Looking at the game’s official Twitter account, The Warden is a new enemy that players will encounter and this new GIF shows how bad-ass this character is.
By the looks of it, The Warden is a heavily armored brute wielding two axes as its main killing option.

Gears 5 is set to come to Xbox One and PC through Xbox Play Anywhere soon. Though the release date hasn’t been announced yet, we are quite excited for it.
