Game company Sony Interactive Entertainment has recently revealed that the PlayStation 4 has sold over 110 million units during its lifetime.

The actual number of PS4 units sold is 110.4 million. Aside from that, there are about 41.5 million PlayStation Plus subscribers to date. That is a lot of PS4 consoles and PS Plus members.
This report was revealed on Sony’s full-year financial results. The company did confess that the sales of the console hardware have gone done due to the slowing of the consoles lifecycle. Well, PlayStation 5 is on the way so this new development is no surprise at all.
There are also two more big games coming in the next few months, which could be the last ones on the list, which are The Last of Us Part 2 and Ghost of Tsushima. The new titles announced after these two are planned for the next generation consoles, so this might be it for PS4 exclusives. There might be more surprises ahead, so who knows.
