After the acquisition of Bethesda just recently, game company Microsoft just revealed a brand new controller for the next-gen console Xbox Series S/X.
The new controller is the new Xbox Wireless Controller in Shock Blue. The top case is blue accented by the black hybrid D-pad and ABXY buttons and softened by a white back case. This will be optimized for next-gen gameplay.
The PC controller bundles have been updated and will include the new Xbox Wireless Controller in Carbon Black. Consumers can get the Xbox Wireless Controller + Wireless Adapter for Windows 10 bundle or the Xbox Wireless Controller + USB-C Cable bundle. The controllers can be connected with the Bluetooth as well.
Microsoft also has the new Xbox Rechargeable Battery + USB-C Cable. Consumers can just plug in the rechargeable battery and fully charge the controller in under four hours before, after or while they play.
The Xbox Wireless Controllers in Carbon Black, Robot White, Shock Blue, The PC controller bundles, and the Rechargeable Battery + USB-C Cable will be available starting Nov. 10 in nearly all Xbox markets worldwide. It will still be priced $59.99 USD, just the same as the previous controller and the Xbox Battery + USB-C Cable is priced $24.99 USD.
Also announced was that the Xbox Design Lab will be suspended temporarily. It will undergo some updates starting Oct. 14 and will return in 2021.
