Baldur’s Gate 3 Early Access Gets Delayed One Week

Game developer Larian Studios recently announced that the Early Access of upcoming video game Baldur’s Gate 3 will be delayed slightly.

Larian Studios revealed that the Early Access of the game will be delayed a bit by one week. Instead of going live on Sept. 30, it will now go into Early Access on Oct. 6.

The studio confessed that they have met some unexpected delays and are trying to stabilize some issues. It was also revealed that the translations will be coming later than they expected. They want to ensure the localization will be strong enough for their international fans.

In other related news, a video was released as well talking about romance and companions in the game. The developers confirmed that players can have sex with different love interests. They are aiming to make players have authentic, reactive relationships for certain characters in the game. It would start from the moment they meet to whatever eventuality.

Companions will have different personalities, goals and motivations. They are connected with the same problem: a parasite inside their heads and they join the players’ party in order to survive. Some might not like other party members, sometimes it could be the players they do not like, but they have to put that aside in order to live.

Baldur’s Gate 3 launches on PC via Steam and Google Stadia.
