BioWare’s Game Director leaves studio

Electronic Arts decided to stop all efforts of revamping Anthem, and that leaves the game to thrive for itself with simple daily fixes from patches and hopefully in-game events.

Jonathan Warner, BioWare’s Game Director, recently left the studio. He shared on Twitter that he is “moving on to do new things” and that games like Dragon Age, Mass Effect, and Star Wars: The Old Republic are in good hands.

Warner worked on Mass Effect 3’s multiplayer and downloadable contents (DLC) in 2012 as the Senior Producer. He then worked on a new live-service game in 2015, that eventually became Anthem, as a Game Director over at BioWare.

He didn’t share any specific information on what his new projects are or where he’s going, but we do hope Warner the best.

Anthem is already available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. You can read our review here.
