Game developer Easy Day Studios recently revealed that video game Skater XL is getting a Multiplayer Free Skate mode open beta today on Steam.
The new mode will be available as open beta today on Steam. It will allow up to 10 players to join in a free skate session together to hangout, explore different lines together and create group party line replays. This is the next step in expanding the game’s planned social ecosystem and will be added to the PlayStation and Xbox consoles soon.
Up to ten players can hangout and chill together in the Skater XL’s Multiplayer Free Skate.
Skater XL’s Multiplayer Free Skate is available now as an open beta to stress test the online system and servers. Player feedback will be gathered to fine-tune the experience before the official Free Skate mode launches on all platforms. The Multiplayer Free Skate mode includes the following features:
• Skate with up to 10 people online – Join a random room, or start your own to invite your friends using a passcode.
• Replays – Replay and save your group party lines with the same replay editor functionality found in single player mode.
Skater XL is now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam for only $39.99 USD.
