Star Wars: The Old Republic Gets New Expansion Legacy of the Sith

Game publisher EA and developer BioWare in cooperation with Lucas Film have announced that popular video game Star Wars: The Old Republic will be getting a new expansion titled Legacy of the Sith.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the game, a new expansion has been announced and it will focus more on the Sith. This time around, the war between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire has expanded to new worlds and Darth Malgus has some diabolical unknown plan.

In this expansion, the Combat Styles will be introduced. Players can now separate their Class Story from gameplay style for an improved customization experience. They can now choose any Advanced Class within the Tech or Force gameplay. Troopers can wield Sniper Rifles, a Sith Inquisitor wielding lightsabers in each hand, or use Dark Side powers while posing as a Jedi.

Players will be visiting underwater facilities for control of Manaan, a planet full of kolto. Kolto is an important resource for both sides. Complete the Manaan storyline to unlock a new base of operations for the factions with a new daily area.

Planet Elom has a ruined Sith Fortress that was mysteriously erased from all records and it is the job of the players to explore them. It will be available for both solo and multiplayer.

The R-4 Anomaly Operation thrusts players into fighting a Sith cult that is harvesting technology from an ancient weapon.

The expansion also introduces a new Duros Companion named Fen Zeil, a gunslinger. He will be available to all participating players in Galactic Season, Shadows of the Underworld.

Star Wars: The Old Republic is now available on PC. Legacy of the Sith will be free to download for all subscribers and launches Holiday 2021. In other news, EA Star Wars is teasing a possible sequel of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
