The same emplacements are back from the first stage but this time there’s the new Aegis Emplacement. It will only activate once the main Emplacement challenge of the room is activated. When it’s active, it will taunt enemies to attack it while charging up for a shockwave that will deal AoE damage. Do note that when it’s destroyed it will cause an explosion that could deal damage to your active character.

How to Complete Stage 2 – The Brutal Divergence Challenge

Just before each trial starts, Travelers must choose one out of nine Shikifuda that will provide buffs just as with the previous stage. Up to three can be selected.

To complete the 2nd stage of the Labyrinth Warriors: The Brutal Divergence Challenge, you must complete the following trial objectives:

    • Activate the Arrayed Emplacement and complete the challenge.
    • Activate the Ferocious Emplacement and complete the Serious challenge.
    • Activate the Ferocious Emplacement and complete the Dire challenge.
    • Activate the Decisive Emplacement and complete the challenge.

Just as with the previous stage, Travelers will need to locate the Mystic Onmyou Chamber on their maps. They’ll be selecting their characters for the Combat Team and the Support Team.

The Domain will have two floors filled with many rooms. Travelers can use the event map in order to find the room with the “Decisive Emplacement.” The Decisive Emplacement will summon the floor boss which needs to be overcome in order to advance to the next floor. Once all the Decisive Emplacements have been dealt with then the trial will be marked as complete. For every objective completed the following rewards will be given:

Just like in the previous stage, while exploring the domain, you’ll be able to obtain Damaged Replicas which can be used to improve different aspects of Shiki Taishou’s Charm Magic. Travelers will also be able to draw charms from Charm Emplacements as well as from completing the Arrayed and Ferocious Emplacements and the Decisive Emplacement for the first floor.

There will be three options to select from and if there are no charms available then Travelers can consume a Battered Shikifuda, which are obtained from completing the trial’s challenges, to redraw.

Travelers need to be careful as they can get afflicted from Cursed Seals while drawing charms.
