It seems Jim Ryan is hinting that Sony has now cracked the code of cloud gaming.

PlayStation CEO Jim Ryan has recently shared a statement claiming that Sony Interactive Entertainment will be announcing its “aggressive plans” for the cloud gaming space in the near future.

During a business call on Tuesday via VGC, Ryan shared this new claim that the PlayStation firm will reveal its plans “over the course of the coming months.” Unfortunately, he did not share more details about this claim afterward.

“We observe mobility in gaming habits to be an increasingly important trend, and the cloud will be fundamental to allowing us, or indeed anybody else, to exploit that trend,” Ryan said.

“Unfortunately, today is not the place for me to disclose these plans, but we do have some fairly interesting and quite aggressive plans to accelerate our initiatives in the space of the cloud that will unfold over the course of the coming months.”

For more than a decade, SIE has been experimenting with cloud features, resulting in the PlayStation Now service. The problem was that Xbox actually created a superior version that allowed players to play Xbox titles on mobile devices. It seems Ryan’s new claims suggest that the company might have just broken the code.
