CAPCOM has recently announced the official Exoprimal Post-Launch Roadmap including lots of new content to look forward to.

    Exoprimal Post-Launch Roadmap for 2023-Early 2024

The recently concluded Exoprimal Showcase was hosted by Director Takura Hiraoka. It provided players an early look at what is in store for Exofighters when the wargames begin on July 14, 2023. The digital event featured a sneak peek at the upcoming seasonal updates, which will include a new mode, Alpha and Beta Exosuit variants, Monster Hunter and Street Fighter 6 crossovers, and many more. Hiraoka also revealed the Final Mission Selection feature for the main mode, Dino Survival. This is an option that will give players the choice between player-versus-player (PvP), player-versus-environment (PvE), and random matches.

    Final Mission Options

Exoprimal will launch with the Dino Survival mode which includes the “Final Mission Selection” feature that offers three matchmaking options. PvP allows two rival squads of Exofighters to go head-to-head at the end of matches. This will decide which team wins and which is getting fed to the dinosaurs. PvE needs players to be quick with completing the missions. These will not generally involve direct PvP instead the team to complete all objectives first will be granted permission to survive.

There is a random option that will provide players with a small experience bonus. Exofighters will be free to change their preference settings and mix things up at any time.

    Season Details

CAPCOM will support Exoprimal with seasonal content updates that introduce major new features. The latest showcase shares a peek at what fans will experience over the next few months.

Season 1 will start alongside the game’s launch this coming Friday, July 14, 2023 and will introduce the new game mode two weeks later on July 28, 2023. Savage Gauntlet is a co-op experience that will challenge teams of five players with late-game PvE missions that will rotate weekly and can be replayed for higher rankings and rewards. On August 17, 2023, the game will roll out its first major title update which introduces 10 Alpha variant Exosuits to the roster all at once. Each of these alternate designs have different weapons from their standard counterparts.

Season 2 will be in mid-October 2023 and will feature the next title update. It introduces the Street Fighter 6 collaboration content that was teased last month. There will be other additions too including a new map and Final Mission, plus more rigs and modules.

Season 3 will kick off in January 2024 which expands the armory with Beta variant Exosuits. This update will summon a new foe to battle, the Neo Triceratops. Monster Hunter collaboration content will be part of Season 3 too.

Exoprimal launches on July 14, 2023 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
