Saber Interactive, in collaboration with Universal Products & Experiences, has released a new video offering a behind-the-scenes look at the development of Jurassic Park: Survival.
The video showcases the collaborative efforts between Saber and NBCUniversal to meticulously recreate the world of Isla Nublar. The goal is to deliver an authentic experience that has been decades in the making for fans of the franchise. Players can expect to revisit iconic locations from the film while also discovering new areas and surprises on the island.
The game follows Dr. Maya Joshi, an InGen scientist voiced by actress Payal Mistry, who finds herself stranded on Isla Nublar after the evacuation. Players will experience a mix of first-person stealth and action gameplay, with the dinosaurs brought to life to reflect their authentic look, movement, and behavior from the film.
The developers have highlighted several key features of the game:
- Explore Isla Nublar: Venture through a fully realized Isla Nublar filled with reactive wildlife, dinosaurs, and other threats. From the park gates to the Visitor Center and beyond, the island is brought to life.
- Evade Prehistoric Predators: Outsmart, escape, and engage with the film’s iconic dinosaurs. Players must use distraction, stealth, and ingenuity to survive intense encounters with some of the deadliest creatures on earth.
- Survive the Island: Navigate the park’s many varied locations and dangers. Players are challenged to use all the resources at their disposal and find intelligent solutions to endure the wide range of threats lurking on Isla Nublar.
Jurassic Park: Survival is still under development for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
