It seems Fallout New Vegas 2 is possibly happening with Microsoft currently in talks with the developers.
Venture Beat’s Jeff Grubb recently shared new information about Obsidian rumored to be working on a sequel to the classic RPG Fallout New Vegas. Since they are now together with Bethesda under Microsoft, it could be possible now.
“This is very early, but people have begun to have talks and say these words in sentences, and these words are ‘Obsidian’ and ‘New Vegas 2’,” Grubb said.
“We’re talking years and years away. There’s at least an interest and conversations happening about making something like that actually a reality.”
Microsoft seems to be very interested of this development. They think this sequel could work.
Way back a few years ago, Obsidian CEO Feargus Urquhart revealed they are really interested in making a sequel to the title they have made under Bethesda a long time ago. Since then, no word from Obsidian or Bethesda about the sequel. This time around, it might finally happen.
