A new mod for popular online video game Among Us was recently discovered and it will add new roles for players to enjoy.
The name of the mod is aptly named as Extra roles mod and was made by Hunter101. This is a PC mod that can spice up the gameplay of the popular video game. It adds four roles, which are Medic, Officer, Engineer, and Joker. It works with the official servers, but the other players should have installed this mod as well to make it work.
The Medic will make another player invulnerable throughout the session by putting a shield on them. It breaks if the Medic dies. They can also find a lot of information by inspecting a corpse but that will depend on how fast the Medic arrives on the scene.
The Officer can kill anyone, but if he does not kill the imposter and a crewmate instead, he will die. It is a double-edged sword, but a very helpful role if done right.
The Joker makes it interesting. He will win if he is booted out of the ship falsely, so players will have to be careful in voting someone out.
The Engineer has quite the big role. He can repair one emergency from anywhere in the map per game only. The coolest ability he has is using the vents like how Imposters do it.
Among Us is now available on iOS, Android, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One.
