Innovative Animated Adventure ‘Lost in Play’ Gets August Release Date

Developer Happy Juice Games recently announced that its forthcoming point-and-click puzzle adventure Lost in Play will launch on both Nintendo Switch and PC (via Steam) on Wednesday, August 10, 2022.

Rekindle the past and relive your childhood; a time when every pathway was your playground and adventure lay around every corner, if only in your mind. Lost in Play is your ticket to times long gone – a living cartoon where imagination and a sense of curiosity are the tools of your trade. Get ready to take a step back in time on the road to wonder.

Lost in Play is designed to take us all back to hose sunny afternoons after school when adventuring in the backyard or gallivanting around the local park dangerously encroached upon our allotted homework time. Likewise, the game’s visuals are unashamedly inspired by a mixture of modern-day cartoons kids watch today and the Saturday morning cartoons the rest of us grew up with.

This is a game you and I can play in front of our kids to show them a little slice of our collective childhoods. That’s why we were so inspired by the spirit of the cartoons we all grew up watching, using the sense of adventure they convey to connect with the younger generation. Recapturing that magic that we tend to lose when we get older is what we set out to achieve, and we think people will enjoy finding the charm, the nostalgia, and the feel-good factor whilst they’re Lost in Play.

Yuval Markovich, co-founder at Happy Juice Games

The brand-new trailer showcased at the Future GAmes Show showcases the madcap nature of the world brother and sister Toto and Gal are thrust into, also casting an eye on the aforementioned graphical style that serves as Lost in Play’s superlative signature.

    About Lost in Play

Altogether, Lost in Play is a feel-good adventure in which a brother and sister explore dreamscapes and befriend magical creatures. Wrapped up in the magic of their imagination, Toto and Gal must work together to solve puzzles and make their way home. It’s an entirely unique retro-inspired, family-friendly 2D adventure designed to rekindle a spirit of nostalgia amongst players.
