Embark Studios has announced a last-minute open beta for ARC Raiders, giving players one more chance to jump in before the extraction shooter officially launches on October 30, 2025.
The event, known as a Server Slam, will take place from October 17 to 19, 2025, on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. Unlike previous closed playtests, this one requires no codes — anyone can join by creating an Embark ID and linking it to their platform account.
According to Embark’s Aleksander Grøndal, the Server Slam is designed to stress test the game’s servers under full player load ahead of launch. Their goal is simple: to make sure that when servers go live, every player experiences it exactly as intended. While no progress will carry over to release, participants will earn an exclusive backpack cosmetic that will be usable after purchasing the game.

The open beta will feature the Dam Battlegrounds map, along with quests, crafting, and progression systems, providing a solid preview of the game’s core loop to more players. The previous beta test, a little more than four months ago, restricted the number of invites by batches.
Embark Studios recently confirmed that ARC Raiders will release as a premium title rather than the originally announced free-to-play model. The Standard Edition is priced at $39.99, while the Deluxe Edition includes extra cosmetics.
ARC Raiders launches worldwide on October 30, 2025 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. Pre-orders are live now across all platforms.
