Game company Square Enix has announced that there will be a big day one patch for upcoming video game Balan Wonderworld after the feedback they got from the playable demo.
Last January, the playable demo was released to the public and since then there were some negative feedback from it. There were issues with the camera movement, controls, and some even complained with the difficulty.
In order to respond to those complaints, game developer Balan Company has decided to upload a huge patch on day one in order to address them. Game Producer Noriyoshi Fujimoto stated on the recent announcement that they are going to implement a lot of changes into the game.
On launch, the PC via Steam PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch game on March 26 will get those needed changes and with it a big file to download. Fujimoto did state that despite the large patch, it will not fully address every issue that they got from the feedback. There will be more changes along the way.
“There’s been a wide range of opinions and responses to the demo, and unfortunately at the current stage of development, it simply isn’t feasible to reflect every piece of feedback into the game. However, to offer you all a more balanced gameplay experience, we will be implementing a day one patch for the full game,” Fujimoto stated.
Despite all of that, Fujimoto and the rest of the Balan Company wish everyone to enjoy the launch of the game, which is on March 26.
