Nintendo has recently announced that Bayonetta Switch physical copies will be delayed in UK and Europe.
According to the official Twitter account of Nintendo, it was revealed that the upcoming physical copies of Bayonetta will be delayed for a bit in the UK and Europe. Instead of its original launch, which was today, it will be released in the first half of October 2022.
“We are now aiming to release the physical edition of Bayonetta in the first half of October, exclusively on My Nintendo Store,” the post says. “Please stay tuned for more info. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.”
This is the physical edition of the first Bayonetta title. When Bayonetta 2 was launched, this was released together on Switch as a digital download.
Like what happened with Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Collector’s Edition, fans are unhappy with this news. XC3 CE got delayed as well because it had unforeseen logistical challenges. This could be what is happening to the physical copies of the original Bayonetta game.
