The time has finally come for Star Wars fans! The upcoming Star Wars shooter from EA & DICE, Battlefront, will be opening their Beta doors to the public this October. The Beta would last about 4 days, from October 8 to October 12. It will be available for all next-generation consoles and PC. The size for the next-gen consoles is 7GB while PC would have 11GB. The game modes that will be available on the Beta are:
- Walker Assault on Hoth. With DICE showing the 1st gameplay trailer at E3 2015 last June, the epic battle in the snowy-planet Hoth is in the Beta! Better get those Snowspeeder, AT-AT, AT-ST, X-Wing, and Tie Fighters ready! It’s time to defend the shield generator for the Rebels and it’s time to destroy the generator for the Empire. 20 vs 20 players!
- Drop Zone on Sullust. The new planet featured in the game, Sullust, will have its own unique 8v8 gameplay. Escape pods are dropped on the planet and it’s your task is to take control of it before the other team.
- Survival mode in Tatooine. A classic planet featured in all Star Wars films, the planet where Anakin and Luke had their childhood. Tatooine will be the planet where players can play alone, co-op mode online, or split-screen (for consoles) and the goal is to survive waves of enemies coming from the hostile Empire Stormtroopers.
Star Wars Battlefront Beta will be available on PSN, Xbox Live, and Origin for PC in October 8 until October 12. May the Force be with you when you get into battle!
