Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Is Doing Pretty Well than Modern Warfare Remastered on Steam

Just a few days ago, we reported how low the playercount was on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered. Now, will Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare show the same average number of players playing on Steam? Or is it doing really well?

Given we base our analysis from SteamCharts, it’s a third-party site where we get estimates of the playercount of Steam games, we are sure that the numbers it pull out are accurate as it can be.

When we hit that search button and looked up Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, the numbers look solid. But do take note that unlike Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered having its own player charts on SteamCharts, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare‘s results are combined with both single-player and multiplayer numbers. Despite dividing the playerbase due to its “different” digital distribution platform (Windows 10 and Steam), Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is still a bit crowded compared to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered.

The all-time peak shows 15,312 players while over 24 hours there is about 1,726 players playing Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.

We did also tried to compare both Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered; and the numbers are in favor of the former.

When we look at the average players each month since November 2016, which peaked about 4,995 players, to July 2017, we get about an average of 1,923 (or 1,922.9) per month. This shows how the community of Infinite Warfare is still solid and when you play on Steam you’ll definitely have someone to play with unlike Modern Warfare Remastered on Steam.

Sirus Gaming also reviewed Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. John stated “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is beyond odd. Two-third of the experience is pretty good, the remaining one-third leaves much left to be desired.” You can read his full review here.

Things will change when Call of Duty: WWII launches later this year.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is currently available on PS4, PC, and Xbox One.

Are you still playing Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare? How is the waiting time in finding a match? Let us know in the comments!
