Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Revealed at Xbox Tokyo Game Show 2025 – First Look at New Japan Maps

At the Xbox Tokyo Game Show 2025, we got our very first look at Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. The teams at Treyarch and Beenox unveiled several upcoming multiplayer maps, with a special focus on those set in Japan.

Toshin – the bustling heart of Tokyo in 2035. It features well-defined lanes perfect for competitive play, alongside fun and immersive set pieces like a cat cafe, a karaoke bar, and even a crashed train, adding both style and chaos to the battlefield.

Den – Players will also battle across a Japanese castle, where tradition collides with the high-tech world of 2035. Inside, the ancient halls are enhanced with futuristic technology, leading to the map’s centerpiece: the Throne Room.

The developers highlighted the castle’s outer lanes, designed with plenty of style and opportunities for creative takedowns—think wall-running skirmishes and fast-paced vertical combat. Meanwhile, players who stick to the interior will face a completely different fight, creating a sharp contrast between the chaotic rooftops and the intense, close-quarters battles within.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 launches on November 14, with the Early Access Beta beginning on October 2, and the Open Beta from October 5.
