Pearl Abyss has officially launched Crimson Desert, its open-world action-adventure game, across multiple platforms worldwide.
The game is now available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with support for multiple voiceovers including English, Korean, and Chinese, alongside subtitles in 14 languages.

Players step into the role of Kliff, a warrior from the Greymanes, a faction known for its ideals of peace and unity. That peace, however, doesn’t last long.
The story begins after the Greymanes are scattered, with Kliff tasked to reunite them and reclaim their homeland. As the journey unfolds, a much larger threat emerges across the continent of Pywel.

Crimson Desert puts a strong focus on fluid combat and open-world exploration.
Players can mix and match different fighting styles, using weapons like swords, axes, and spears, alongside ranged attacks and even hand-to-hand combat. It looks like the system is built to encourage chaining combos rather than sticking to a single playstyle.
Traversal is also a big part of the experience, with mechanics like climbing and gliding allowing players to move freely across the world.
On top of that, progression isn’t locked into a strict path, players can shape their character through exploration and encounters with bosses.
Crimson Desert is now available.
