Cyberpunk 2077 Senior Developer Expresses His Joy in Game’s Big Comeback

"It's good to be back."

Quest Director Paweł Sasko is so glad for Cyberpunk 2077 big comeback after its very bad launch.

Sasko recently spoke on his personal Twitch channel to talk about the struggles CD Projekt RED had during its launch in late 2020. Compared to their latest success today, the original launch was far different. “It’s hard to express when you’re putting so much heart and work into something,” he said.

“And you know for some of us it’s been six, seven, eight years sometimes, especially for those who started at the very beginning,” Sasko continued. “So to have this moment, of people liking something that we did, it’s really feeling a bit unreal. That finally people are appreciating it.”

Sasko then shared his experience after the launch of Cyberpunk 2077. His girlfriend said that he was a complete wreck after it was revealed that many did not like the game after the release. Quite understandable as it had too many bugs, which made the game almost not playable. “That was really so heart breaking,” he revealed.

The quest director was really appreciative of this big comeback after the Cyberpunk Edgerunners update launched. This really helped out the game and even maintained 1 million players per day on Steam. “But it’s good to be back,” he said “It’s fucking good to be back.”
