CD Projekt RED has recently announced the official launch window of Cyberpunk 2077 next gen upgrade and The Witcher 3.
According to a newly-released press release, CDPR has revealed the official launch window of Cyberpunk 2077’s next-gen version, which will be sometime in Q1 2022. “We are hard at work on the next-gen version of Cyberpunk, scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2022, alongside another major update for all platforms,” according to the developers.
No specific date has been revealed for the next-gen version of Cyberpunk 2077, but at least now we can now pinpoint which months the next-gen version is coming soon.
Aside from that, CDPR revealed the current update for The Witcher 3 next-gen version. According to the developers, there is still no timeline for it, but they are currently working hard on those and it is ongoing right now. They also notified that the expansion for Cyberpunk 2077 is in development and ongoing.
CDPR announced that they are currently doing “exploratory work on new projects which are at an early stage of development.” No word on what project this is, but it could be a new series to watch out for.
Cyberpunk 2077 is now available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. The Witcher 3 is available on PC, PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch.
