CD Projekt RED has revealed that Cyberpunk 2077 has now redeemed itself on Steam after a few years as its reviews have now reached new records.

Over two and a half years since its controversial disastrous launch, Cyberpunk 2077’s Steam user review rating has now changed. From its very negative user review rating, it has now upgraded to very positive, and CDPR is celebrating such an occasion.

CD Projekt RED Global Community Director Marcin Momot highlighted the game’s upgraded review status in a Twitter post today. He thanked the players for the positive feedback and for acknowledging all the hard work the team has done over the years since the launch.
“Cyberpunk 2077 Steam reviews are now sitting at ‘Very Positive’ with 80% of all scores being favorable,” he wrote. “Thank you all for acknowledging all the hard work the team has put in over the years since the release!”
CDPR is now preparing to launch the upcoming new expansion for Cyberpunk 2077 called Phantom Liberty in September 2023. It will introduce ever more significant improvements, new content, and a whole new area to explore.
Cyberpunk 2077 is out now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
