Guilty Gear Strive is once again hitting the headlines of the gaming world as they revealed a guest character who will be joining the game’s roster. From the world of Cyberpunk: Edge Runners, Lucy has officially joined the roster as part of the Season 4 DLC Pass.
GUILTY GEAR -STRIVE- Season 4 Characters
During EVO 2024, Arc System Works revealed the next Season Pass of Guilty Gear Strive and revealed the list of new characters joining the game. The characters who will join in the new season pass are the following:
Dizzy
She is an innocent and pacifistic Commander Gear. She is technically only 3 years old, but her body matures at an alarming rate due to her Gear cells. She is half-Gear and half-human, and her mother is Commander Gear Justice. Having both good defense and a set of range attacks makes her an ideal fighter to have in the GGS.
Venom
He is a young man taken in by the Assassin’s Guild, he has sworn undying loyalty to the one who saved him, Zato-ONE. Like many other characters in the series, Venom uses a very unusual weapon, a pool cue, and attacks with several billiard-based moves.
Unika
Unika is an all-new character that will debut in the upcoming anime version of Guilty Gear Strive. She bears exceptional hostility towards Gears and plots to destroy every last one of them.
Lucy
She is one of the newest guest characters to appear in Guilty Gear Strive. From the world of Cyberpunk, Lucyna Kushinada known as Lucy in short, is a netrunner and the deuteragonist of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. Her body is marked by multiple panel lines, implying she has various types of cyberware installed but it’s unclear what kind.
Aside from the sneak peek of who will be added in GSS, the trailer also revealed new DLC color palettes to be added and new arenas/ stages.
The Season 4 DLC Pass of Guilty Gear Strive will be out on July 22, 2024, for the PlayStation, Xbox, and PC (via Steam). For more info about the game, check out their main website.
