Independent game developer Brain Seal Ltd has announced today the release of its fantasy tabletop game, Dark Quest Board Game, on Steam Early Access today at 10:00 AM PDT.
To commemorate the occasion, the developer released an Early Access Launch trailer that shows off the things players can expect from the game.
Dark Quest Board Game is a roguelike adventure board game where you build a party, draw adventure cards, roll dice, and fight monsters to defeat the sorcerer and his magic.

According to the developers, approximately 6 months.
How will the full version differ from the current version?
During the course of early access, the developer is looking to add the following:
- 2 more areas on the main path
- More party cards, runes, and equipment
- at least 4 more heroes to unlock and play
- More secret content about the city the developers cannot talk about right now
- Localization in Spanish, German, Chinese, Portuguese, French, Italian, and Japanese
- More voices
- More exploration cards to increase the randomness of each area
- Higher difficulty modes once you beat the game

In Dark Quest Board Game, you start the game at the hero camp where you must create your party and then go on a journey. Choose each area based on your party’s strengths and weaknesses. Upgrade your party, search for hidden equipment, battle ferocious monsters and become a hero!
