Sony Interactive Entertain CEO and President Jim Ryan recently shared that popular game Days Gone is coming to PC.
Ryan revealed in an exclusive interview with media outlet GQ that with the success of Horizon Zero Dawn on PC, Days Gone is next in line. This will be just one of the many PlayStation exclusives releasing on PC. No details yet on what the next few titles will be.
“People liked [Horizon on PC] and they bought it,” Ryan said. “We also looked at it through the lens of what the PlayStation community thought about it. There was no massive adverse reaction to it. So we will continue to take mission steps in this direction.”
Ryan revealed that with the wider PC audience, it made sure that their PlayStation games could be played by more people this time around. Also, the cost of making games has gone up with each cycle since the caliber of each IP has improved. Since it is now easy to make it available to non-console owners and its audience has grown, it was an easy decision to make for SIE.
The media outlet revealed that there will be more PS games coming to PC in the next few months, but no mention of the names so far. Only Days Gone was revealed.
