Game company Sony Interactive Entertainment recently announced the official release date of upcoming zombie survival video game Days Gone.
Days Gone launches early next year
Sony has official announced that the zombie survival video will launch on February 22, 2019 on the PlayStation 4. They also released a new trailer to celebrate the revelation of the release date.
New content revealed
The release date trailer revealed other contents of the video game as well: there are now two new animal threats that Deacon has to face, which are the mountain lions or cougars, and the infected ravens called Criers. Another scene showed enemies called the Marauders as they torch an old vehicle and roll it onto the highway trying to knock the protagonist from his bike.
The video introduced a new enemy faction called Rest In Peace or RIP. It is a cult that worships the Freakers and its members known as Rippers. They wear costumes that make them look like Freakers and kill anyone who is not like them.
Three new characters were introduced in the video as well. These characters are William Boozer Gray, Alkai Turner, and Ada Tucker. Boozer is a brother of Deacon, Alkai is an arms dealer at the Hotsprings survivor encampment, and Ada is a former prison matron that runs the camp now.
