Deep Silver and Dambuster Studios have now announced that Dead Island 2 has gone gold and as a result, the release date is now earlier than planned.
Dead Island 2 Has Gone Gold
According to the developers, the game has now gone gold, meaning development has been completed and is ready for manufacturing. After this, the game will only need some post-development improvements and polishing before they release it to the public.
Release Date 1 Week Early
Speaking of release, the launch date is now earlier than scheduled due to the game going gold. The two companies have decided to shorten the wait for fans and release it one week earlier than expected. It will now release on Friday, April 21, 2023.
Until the game launches, Deep Silver will be revealing more gameplay and other trailers for fans to enjoy.
