Game developer Bungie and publisher Activision have officially revealed Destiny 2: Forsaken as the year two expansion.

    Destiny 2: Forsaken details

Players will be put in the remains of the Reef, which has become a lawless land. Players and Cayde-6 will be sent there to personally investigate the recent unrest. When they land, they find out that the most-wanted criminals in the Prison of Elders have organized an escape.

Players will have to hunt down the eight Barons and their crew and two new destinations will be available: The Tangled Shore and The Dreaming City. It will also feature a new raid, a new PVE mode called Gambit, nine additional supers, the new Legendary Bow, new story missions, destination activities, and more.

Price tag and digital deluxe edition

The expansion will be available as a standalone purchase for only $39.99. Players can also purchase the Digital Deluxe Edition for $79.99 and the expansion plus the Annual Pass Bundle for $69.99. Destiny 2 is now available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
