Bungie has recently answered some community questions talking about the future of Destiny 2 revealing some changes coming to the Broodweaver Warlock in a future season.
Destiny 2 is always evolving since it is a live service game, which is thanks to its seasons. Each season introduces new content and storylines, and sometimes makes big changes to the core experience. This season, Season of the Deep, has introduced a lot of major updates to the game like rebalancing exotics, weapons, and subclasses. It has also added new features too. Still, there are some issues left and the next season might be able to fix that.
Destiny 2 Strand Warlock Gets Changes Soon
According to The Week in Destiny post, it was revealed that many fans were asking Bungie about the game, especially about future content. One of those was about the changes for the Strand Warlock, which focused more about the fact that Broodweavers were originally positioned as minion masters. Players felt like the Threadling minions feel underwhelming inside higher difficulty areas and end-game content, which worried them.
Bungie actually agreed with this statement and offered an outline of its future plans to address this issue and it will be coming in Season 22. According to the reply, the change will have two phases. Phase one will be to implement a sizable increase to how much damage Threadlings do to PvE targets. The second phase is to reduce the duration and uptime of suspend sources.
Weapons Get Improved Too
Aside from the Strand Warlock, fans also asked about the changes that will be made to the weapons. It was revealed that kinetic weapons and Glaives will be getting big chances in the future. These changes to the Glaives will make it more satisfying to use, especially in PvP.
Destiny 2 is out now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
