This is our Destiny 2 weekly reset article for the week of March 28, 2023. Trials of Osiris returns once again after a whole week of Iron Banner. Starting this week, we’ll start to see more glimpses into the future overhaul of the weekend game mode.
With regard to the seasonal story, we have lost Amanda Holliday. She could not be dissuaded from saving civilians from the grasp of the Witness, no matter the cost. We only know that we will be taking our revenge this week. And keeping a watchful, worried eye on the Crow.
And finally, this week marks the start of Weekly Challenges for the Root of Nightmares Raid. As Bungie describes it, “The Weekly Challenges add an additional hidden objective to one encounter each week that, when completed, grant extra loot.”
Destiny 2 Weekly Reset Time
As always, the Destiny 2 weekly reset times are 10 AM PDT for the folks on the West Coast of the US. 6 AM BST for our readers in Britain. And 2 AM JST the following day for everyone in Japan.
Destiny 2 Weekly Activities March 28 – April 03 2023 Overview
The highlight of this week has got to be the finale for the seasonal quest. We have a whole of pain to pass around. This one’s for our allies in the Tower who make this undying existence worth it.
This week also sees bonus ranks being rewarded for completing rounds in Trials of Osiris. Unfortunately, the Adept weapon for the week will not be The Immortal SMG. Another weapon will be the featured weapon. The Immortal is set scheduled to be featured again near the end of the season.
Where is Xur? March 31 2023
It’s that time of the week again when everyone in the Destiny 2 community asks the question – Where is Xur?
This weekend Xur can be found on the cliff overlooking the Winding Cover in the EDZ. Just head North of the fast-travel spot and look for the cave that’s directly under his airship.

Still Standing: Complete Week 5 of the “We Stand Unbroken” quest.
Legendary Liberator: Complete a Defiant Battleground on Legend difficulty.
Favored Warrior: Earn Favors of Justice, Grace, and Zeal during Season of Defiance activities. Bonus progress awarded for Favors earned during activities on Legend difficulty.
Friendly Neighborhood Guardian: Complete a weekly mission from Lightfall on Hero difficulty or higher.
Unraveling the Sun: Defeat Guardians in Crucible. Bonus progress is granted for opponents defeated with Strand, Solar, and Void ability final blows.
Dredgin’ Up Victory: Complete Gambit matches. Earn bonus progress for wins.
Adversaries of Humanity: Defeat Taken and Vex bosses in Vanguard playlists or strikes.
Righteous Blade: Acuire Ecliptic Distaff.
Destiny 2 Nightfall This Week March 28 – April 03 2023
This week’s featured Nightfall sees the Guardians going back to Europa to stop a Vex incursion in the Glassway. No indication that this one strike has been refreshed like the Arms Smuggler strike. Maybe next time.

Destiny 2 Crucible Featured Game Mode March 28 2023
Lord Shaxx is bringing back Rift to the Crucible. One of the game modes that’s going to get some changes in the near future, Rift is not exactly a crowd favorite among Guardians. At best, it’s rare for players to actually play the mode as it was intended. At worst, it devolves into yet another shooting fest with one team managing to score once before time is called.
Destiny 2 Featured Raid and Dungeon March 28 – April 03 2023
The Vow of the Disciple is this week’s featured raid. The disciple Rhulk wants revenge on Savathun for imprisoning him inside his own pyramid. It’s up to the Guardians to stop him before he destroys the entirety of the Throne World.
As for the featured dungeon, we return to the Scarlet Keep to investigate what lies underneath the surface in The Pit of Heresy.
Vow of the Disciple Raid Challenges
- Swift Destruction – Done during the Acquisition encounter, it asks the players to kill all Champions at the same time (within a few seconds from each other), on all rounds.
- Base Information – Done during the Caretaker encounter, it requires the players to only pick up one(1) stack of Knowledge (Glyph) per run.
- Defenses Down – Done during the Upended encounter, each player can’t kill more than one Taken Knight in total.
- Looping Catalyst – Done during the Rhulk encounter, do not lose Leeching Force before the damage phase.
