This is your Destiny 2 Weekly Reset for November 01 2022. Happy Halloween to everyone who is celebrating the holiday. It’s our last week to get all the event weapons this week. (Good luck to those aiming for these god rolls.) Otherwise, there’s still the Ghost Writer Title up for grabs for the final time this year.
Destiny 2 Hotfix 6.2.5.2
Bungie has recently announced that they will be implementing Hotfix 6.2.5.2 the moment the reset occurs. The details of these aren’t revealed yet but we will update the article when Bungie releases the patch notes.
Update:
Raids and Dungeons
- Fixed an issue where dungeon solo flawless Triumphs had the incorrect description.
- Now clarifies that players need to do it in a single activity session (This has always been the behavior for all flawless related Triumphs, but it wasn’t explicitly mentioned in these Triumphs until now.)
Gameplay and Investment
- Fixed an issue where Lord of Wolves was increasing ability damage in addition to its own.
- Fixed an issue where the extra 20% bonus to aim assist fall off was not removed from Rangefinder.
Eververse
- Fixed an issue where Angel’s Gleam and Flower Child shaders had incorrect sources linked in Collections.

As always, the Destiny 2 weekly reset times are 10 AM PDT for the folks on the West Coast of the US. 6 AM BST for our readers in Britain. And 2 AM JST the following day for everyone in Japan.
Destiny 2 Weekly Activities November 01 – November 07 2022 Overview
We have reached the finality of the weekly challenges of last week. There will no longer be any new ones until next season. Though the Bright Dust Triumph is still on the table. It asks players to complete 75 seasonal challenges for a considerable amount of Bright Dust as a reward.
This week sees a bonus to Gambit ranks for the entirety of the week. If you’re looking to Gild your ‘Ghost Writer’ title, this might help you out quite a bit. Plus, the Yesteryear Pulse Rifle with its god roll is kind of worth grinding for.

Where is Xur? November 04 2022
It’s that time of the week again when everyone in the Destiny 2 community asks the question – Where is Xur?
This weekend Xur can be found on the cliff overlooking the Winding Cover in the EDZ.
Just head North of the fast-travel spot and look for the cave that’s directly under his airship.

Destiny 2 Nightfall This Week November 01 – November 07 2022
This week you and your fireteam will be asked to protect the integrity of everyone’s AI with dual personalities, Failsafe, in the Exodus Crash Nightfall. Fallen raiders are taking apart what’s left of the Exodus Black. For the sake of Failsafe, we need to stop them. And possibly troll Zavala in the process.

Because of the issue that caused Mindbender’s Ambition Adept drops to have one less perk than intended, Bungie has decided to change this week’s Nightfall weapon drop. This week will not be the Horror’s Least Pulse Rifle but the Mindbender’s Ambition shotgun instead.
Destiny 2 Crucible Featured Game Mode November 01 2022
Lord Shaxx brings back Mayhem to the Crucible playlist. This is yet another chance to complete that Mayhem challenge for the seasonal challenge. There’s also Trials of Osiris to look forward to this weekend. I’m sure we’ll be seeing more sidearms this week as well.
Destiny 2 Featured Raid and Dungeon November 01 – November 07 2022
This week’s featured raid will be the Last Wish in the Dreaming City exclusive to players who have the Forsaken Pack. As for this week’s featured dungeon, we get Prophecy. This reinstated dungeon can be accessed from the Legends tab on the main map screen.
And as usual, completing these featured content will reward you with pinnacle gear.
Last Wish Raid Challenges
The Summoning Ritual – Done during the Kalli encounter, it asks the players to activate all 9 plates, kill all knights, and kill all Ogres in the middle before doing damage to Kalli.
Which Witch Challenge – Done during the Shuro Chi encounter, do not get hit/take damage from Shuro Chi’s Arc Blast.
Forever Fight – Done during the Morgeth encounter, do not kill any of the small Ogres.
Keep Out – Done during the Vault encounter, this challenge asks all players to unlock the vault and keep Might of Riven Knights out of the center room.
Destiny 2 King’s Fall Challenge This Week November 01 2022
This week’s Destiny 2 King’s Fall Challenge is Devious Thievery. This challenge takes place in the Warpriest encounter. To complete it, players will need to steal the Brand of the Initiate within a couple of seconds of taking the Brand Claimer Buff. This tricky challenge boils down to timing and teamwork.
Accomplish this and you and your raid team will be rewarded with an additional raid chest that contains Hallowed loot and some high-stat armor. And if you’ve been keeping track, you should have your Gilded King’s Slayer Seal.
