Diablo 4 Quarterly Update Blog Next Week to Discuss Environment Art and More

Blizzard will be sharing its Diablo 4 quarterly update blog next week and it will focus on environment art and more.

Since its big announcement in 2019, Blizzard has shared important details about Diablo 4 like design choices, art direction, and game mechanics in quarterly updates which gets released in intervals of 3 months. So far, their transparency has gotten them good feedback and fans are enjoying the updates from developers. Next week, a new update blog will be released.

Blizzard will be talking about environment art next. Community Lead Adam Fletcher on his Twitter account revealed fans will be given a great peek into the updates on the art side of the game. He promises there will be a lot of “eye candy” for everyone and that includes videos. Expect some locations will be revealed, how each area would look like, and more.

According to past reveals, Diablo 4 will be featuring five distinct regions of Sanctuary at launch and that will include the lands of Scosglen, Dry Steppes, Fractured Peaks, Kehjistan, and Hawezar. Kehjistan in particular is from Diablo 3 from the second Act, so players will expect some familiar but also new changes to the environment in this location.

Diablo 4 is still in development. It will be available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
