Blizzard Entertainment has recently released a new Diablo IV video detailing the endgame progression of the game.
The development team behind Diablo IV has recently shared some juicy details about the game’s endgame progression ahead of the official launch on June 6, 2023. One of the developers said that after the main campaign, players can explore the Capstone Dungeons for better loot. This will increase the World Tier which will increase the difficulty of the game and also the rewards for exploring. There are other ways to upgrade their characters though.
After reaching max levels of their characters, players can now enter the Paragon System just like in previous Diablo titles. This will expand beyond the original Skill Tree and let them customize it to their liking. They can also find special Aspects that are hidden in dungeons which can let them turn old items into Legendary items.
Old dungeons can be renewed with higher difficulty by using Nightmare Sigils, turning them into Nightmare Dungeons. It will introduce new objectives and more challenges in the dungeons. There are also some bounties to hunt and special monsters to defeat to get shards that can unlock unique items.
Players can also try out Fields of Hatred to do PvP combat. They can duel with other players while trying to purify shards to sell them later. They could either get lots of loot or get killed by other powerful players.
Diablo IV launches on June 6, 2023 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
