Disney Dreamlight Valley How to get Vanellope

Along with the DreamSnaps Update, Vanellope von Schweetz from 2012’s Wreck-It Ralph arrives in Disney Dreamlight Valley, bringing a new set of quests and rewards. By participating in her questline, not only do we have access to new candy-themed cosmetics and furniture, but we also gain access to a new feature that makes getting moonstones a lot easier.

Read ahead, and this guide will teach you how to get Vanellope in Disney Dreamlight Valley and share some tips about the DreamSnaps update.

How to get and unlock Vanellope in Disney Dreamlight Valley

To bring Vanellope back into Dreamlight Valley, start out by talking to Scrooge McDuck and initiate the quest called “Haunting of Dreamlight Valley.” Once done, enter the Dream Castle and climb your way to the very top of the stairs to find Vanellope standing next to the fountain. Go ahead and talk to her.

Scrooge McDuck’s “Haunting of Dreamlight Valley” quest will automatically complete after your conversation with Vanellope, and her “Faith, Trust, and Pixie Dust” quest will begin. You’ll then be introduced to DreamSnaps, a brand new feature that you can read more about in our detailed guide. Simply click here.

Vanellope's House - How to get and unlock Vanellope in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Return to the valley and take a picture using your phone according to the categories required in the DreamSnaps Challenge, which can simply be filtered using the new toggle above in the furniture menu. Submit and share the photo that you captured to DreamSnaps afterwards.

Now, head back and talk to Vanellope. She’ll eventually ask you to place her house in the Valley, which only costs 4,000 coins to build. Once done, talk to Vanellope once more to welcome her into Dreamlight Valley. From here on, she will now be added to your character collection, and you can level her up to unlock friendship quests.

Keep in mind that you can’t get Vanellope unless you start the “Haunting of Dreamlight Valley” quest, which won’t show up until you’ve downloaded the DreamSnaps Update in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
