Multiplatform game developer and publisher 10tons recently announced the early access launch date for upcoming video game DYSMANTLE.
The early access launch date for the upcoming game is November 26 and will be available on PC. It is a post-apocalyptic open-world action RPG and adventure game where players ruin everything and craft all kinds of things from those ruins. The developer even claims that this game features a happier post-apocalypse compared to other similar titles.
Lead Developer Tero Alatalo comments on Early Access plans:
DYSMANTLE is an open world game with lots of different activities to do. This includes things such as gathering resources, fighting, farming, fishing, and treasure hunting. We want to listen to the players to hear what are the most fun things to do, and what will need more work or better rewards. We may also find some new activities we can implement.
The Early Access version will contain roughly the first 1/3 of the open world game area. There’s also an Experience Level cap which prevents leveling up after reaching Level 20. Otherwise, the version contains all the features mentioned in the “About This” section of the store page with the exception of building stuff.
DYSMANTLE will release on Steam early access for PC on Nov 6th 2020. The full launch, which will happen 3-6 months after the early access, will also feature current and next-gen consoles. There’ll also be support for Linux and Mac. 10tons has plans to support several next-gen console features like high resolution rendering, high refresh rates, and more.
DYSMANTLE is built using 10tons Ltd. proprietary game engine technology and is primarily targeted at PCs and current & next-generation consoles. Details about other platforms will be announced at a later date.
